International University Institute
The International University Institute (IHI) Zittau operates under the umbrella of the Technical University of Dresden. Its degree programs range from biotechnology to international management. It collaborates closely with the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic.

University of the Saxon Police
The Saxon Police University of Applied Sciences (FH) is an internal university of applied sciences of the Saxon police force, located in Rothenburg/Oberlausitz with a branch in Bautzen. Approximately 175 to 250 students are trained annually for the higher-level police service.

Dual University of Saxony
The Cooperative State University Saxony / Bautzen Academy offers dual study programs in engineering and business in Bautzen. This program represents an ideal combination of academic studies and practical training. Numerous companies from the Görlitz district and Upper Lusatia utilize the Cooperative State University for the practical training of future employees.

Dual teacher training program
Secondary school teaching degree with a focus on special education – study in Görlitz and Zittau! A unique program offered by the University of Leipzig and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences: practice-oriented, with school placements in the region.
